Fun fact: Contrary to popular belief, a camel’s humps are not full of water. They are mounds of fat that allow a camel to travel days without stopping to eat. They can carry up to 80 lbs of fat, and baby camels do not grow humps until they begin eating solid food. Also, a camel can drink up to 20 gallons of water at a time!
